2022 USA Volleyball Beach Tour – Puget Sound – Pacific Northwest National Qualifier

The 2022 USA Volleyball Beach Tour – Puget Sound – Pacific Northwest National Qualifier is an exciting event that brings together volleyball enthusiasts from all over. This tournament offers a competitive and fun atmosphere for players of all age divisions. From Boys & Girls 12U to 18U, there is a division for everyone to showcase their skills.

Location and Schedule

The event will be held at NW Jrs Beach Club in Snohomish, WA. Here is the schedule of age divisions:

  • Saturday, June 11: Boys & Girls 12U, 16U

    • Check-in time: 8:00am
    • Game start time: 9:00am
  • Sunday, June 12: Boys & Girls 14U, 18U

    • Check-in time: 8:00am
    • Game start time: 9:00am

All teams will check in at NW Jrs Beach Club. A player/coach/parent meeting will take place at 8:30 am, after which teams will be assigned to their respective court locations. Ample time will be provided for teams to travel.

Athletes from Canada or Puerto Rico who wish to participate in this event are required to contact [email protected] before registering, regardless of whether they have a USAV ID number.

Registration fees are as follows:

  • Regular: $107.42 per team through June 3, 2022
  • Late: $133.16 per team between June 4, 2022, and 5 pm PST June 8, 2022

Please note that a $20 administrative fee will be deducted for any refunds issued. No refunds will be given on or after June 1, 2022.

Teams are encouraged to join the waitlist if a division is already full, as there is a possibility of expanding to courts at Willis Tucker Park (WTP).

Compete in Multiple Age Divisions

Teams have the option to compete in multiple age divisions. You may choose to play up by adding it on for a discounted fee at the bottom of the registration form. However, please ensure that the team is comprised of the same athletes. If you plan to change partners to play up, you will need to register the second team separately.

Coach Registration and Accommodations

Coaches must register by noon PST on June 8, 2022, to be allowed to coach on the sand during the weekend. Coaches will check in at NW Jrs Beach Club at 8:00 am each day and receive a wristband. Coaches without a wristband will not be permitted to coach their teams.

Age Divisions and Dress Code

Here are the age divisions for the tournament:

  • 12 and Under Division: Players born on or after July 1, 2009
  • 14 and Under Division: Players born on or after July 1, 2007
  • 16 and Under Division: Players born on or after July 1, 2005
  • 18 and Under Division: Players born on or after July 1, 2003, or players born on or after July 1, 2002, who are high school students in twelfth grade or below during the current academic year.

While uniforms are not required, they are encouraged. All athletes are required to wear a top that covers the midsection when standing (for girls) and bottoms such as spandex, shorts, or leggings. No bikinis are permitted. For boys, a tank top or t-shirt that covers the midsection when standing, along with bottoms like board shorts or athletic shorts, is permitted. Brief-type swim trunks are not allowed.
