6 Junior Leaders Being Honored at Hall of Fame

USA Volleyball is thrilled to recognize and honor six exceptional individuals in the Junior Assembly Leadership Awards category at its Hall of Fame inductions. This prestigious event will take place on May 22 in Columbus, Ohio, during the Dorothy C. Boyce Banquet. The awards ceremony will celebrate these outstanding individuals’ contributions to the junior volleyball community.

The hall of fame event will highlight the achievements of John Kessel, who will receive the Harold T. Friermood “Frier” award, and Misty May-Treanor, recognized as the All-Time Great Female Beach Player. Furthermore, Sherry and Kevin Wong have been selected for the Junior Outstanding Program Director award, while Priscila Cunha de Almeida will be honored with the Junior Outstanding Male Female Coach award.

Ken Levy will be presented with the Junior Outstanding Clinician award, and Kari Duncan will receive the Junior Outstanding Referee award. Colleen Houk has been chosen as this year’s Junior Outstanding Service award recipient, and Trish Fay will be recognized with the Junior Outstanding Parent award.

“We are delighted to announce the recipients of the Junior Assembly Leadership Awards,” said Chris Clauss, the chair of USA Volleyball Recognition and Award Commission and the Junior Assembly Leadership Awards. “We commend their service and valuable contributions to the junior volleyball community.”
