Exciting Plans for 2017

The U.S. Men’s National Team is gearing up for the 2017 FIVB World League, where they aim to improve upon their fifth-place finish in the previous year. The tournament will retain the format used in 2016, featuring three weekends of pool play before the top five teams, along with the host country, advance to the Final Round.

Pool Play Schedule

The U.S. team’s pool play matches will be held on the following weekends:

  1. June 2-4: Serbia, Canada, and Belgium.
  2. June 9-11: France, Russia, and Italy.
  3. June 16-18: Poland, Russia, and Iran.

While the U.S. won’t be hosting a World League weekend in 2017, they are tentatively scheduled to host the NORCECA Men’s Continental Championship in August, providing an opportunity for fans to witness their favorite players in action on home soil.
