Three U.S. Pairs Ready to Showcase Their Skills at the World Tour Finals

Three exceptional pairs from the U.S. Beach National Team – Alix Klineman/April Ross, Kelly Claes/Sarah Sponcil, and Jake Gibb/Taylor Crabb – are gearing up to compete in the highly anticipated FIVB World Tour Finals. This thrilling tournament, which will take place from October 6th to 10th in Cagliari, Italy, marks the culmination of their international seasons.

The World Tour Finals will feature 10 teams per gender, divided into two five-team pools. Each team will engage in a round-robin schedule against their respective pools. The top-seeded team in each pool secures a spot in the semifinals, while the second and third-ranked teams battle it out in the quarterfinals.

Fans worldwide can catch all the action as every match will be broadcast live on Beach Volleyball World’s YouTube channel.

This event promises to be a mini-Olympic reunion as nine teams, both male and female, who qualified for the Tokyo Olympics earlier this year will be competing. On the men’s side, Olympic gold medalists Anders Mol/Christian Sorum of Norway and bronze medalists Cherif Younousse/Ahmed Tijan of Qatar will headline the field. Jake Gibb/Taylor Crabb, who also qualified for Tokyo, will be vying for success once again.
