With an impressive overall record of 6-1 in the tournament, Team USA will have the opportunity to redeem their only loss in the gold-medal match against the reigning champion, Italy, on Saturday at 1 p.m. ET. Italy, who overcame a 2-0 deficit to beat China in the second semifinal, remains undefeated in the competition. In the preliminary round, Italy staged a remarkable comeback from a 2-0 deficit to defeat the American team. Both the U.S. and Brazil entered the semifinals with 5-1 records, having finished second in their respective pools.

The top performers for Team USA in the semifinal match against Brazil were Emily Londot, Caroline Crawford, and Devyn Robinson. Londot led the charge with 16 points, including 13 kills, two blocks, and an ace. Crawford contributed seven blocks, two aces, and five kills, while Robinson recorded eight kills and five blocks.
