Boys Youth Team to Play for 15th at Worlds

The U.S. Boys Youth National Team faced a tough challenge against Germany at the FIVB U19 World Championship in Tunisia. Despite the efforts of outside hitter Alex Knight, who contributed 17 points, the team couldn’t secure a win and fell with a final score of 25-19, 19-25, 25-19, 25-14.

The Boys Youth Team will have one last match against Chinese Taipei to compete for the 15th place. The match will take place on Friday at 1 a.m. PT.

In the match against Germany, Knight led the U.S. team with his 17 kills. Akin Akinwumi, the opposite player, added nine points with eight kills and one block.
