Elite 16 João Pessoa: Recap and Results

The Elite 16 João Pessoa event in Brazil witnessed some thrilling matches. Kristen Nuss and Taryn Kloth put up a great fight, finishing in fourth place after falling to China’s Xue/X. Y. Xia in the bronze-medal match. They had an impressive run, defeating Placette/Richard (FRA) in the quarterfinals before losing to Carol/Barbara (BRA) in the semifinals.

On the men’s side, Trevor Crabb and Theo Brunner gave it their all but finished tied for 13th place. Despite a tough competition, they put on a strong performance. Cottafava/Nicolai (ITA) emerged as the runners-up, losing to Ahman/Hellvig (SWE) in the final.

Challenge Nuvali, Philippines: A Preview

Get ready for the final challenge event on the BPT calendar for 2023 – Challenge Nuvali in the Philippines! With eight women’s teams and one men’s team from the U.S., the competition is bound to be intense. The event will take place from November 30th to December 3rd.

Chase Budinger and Miles Evans are on fire, having recently won gold at Challenge Haikou and bronze at Challenge Chiang Mai. They are aiming to continue their winning streak and secure another medal in Nuvali.

Terese Cannon and Megan Kraft have already secured a spot in the main draw, while other women’s pairs like Kennedy Coakley/Brooke Sweat, Corinne Quiggle/Sarah Murphy, Hailey Harward/Toni Rodriguez, and Teegan Van Gunst/Kim Hildreth will start in the qualification round.
