High Performance Championships set for Tuesday kickoff

The 2016 USA Volleyball Indoor High Performance Championships are about to begin in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, with teams from six countries ready to compete. This highly anticipated tournament will see a total of 112 teams battling it out in eight different divisions. From U20 Girls’ to Boys’ International Youth, there will be plenty of exciting matches to watch.

The event, now in its 17th year, returns to Fort Lauderdale for the second time since 2013. The competition will take place at the Broward County Convention Center and will run from July 19 to July 23. Alongside the intense matches, there will also be an Opening Ceremony to kick off the tournament.

This championship is a showcase of talent from the USA Volleyball High Performance pipeline, as well as the USA Volleyball Region High Performance teams. Fans can expect to see some of the top players in action, including those from the 2016 Women’s Junior National Team and Girls’ Youth National Team.

With teams representing 18 of USA Volleyball’s 40 regions, including international teams from Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Dominican Republic, and Puerto Rico, the competition will be fierce.

The event is co-hosted by the Joseph Volleyball Camps and the Broward County Convention and Visitor’s Bureau, ensuring a well-organized and exciting experience for all participants and spectators.
