Misty May-Treanor Inducted into USAV Hall of Fame

Colorado Springs, Colo. – Misty May-Treanor, the renowned beach volleyball player, has been chosen as one of the 25 volleyball legends to be inducted into the prestigious USA Volleyball Hall of Fame. The induction ceremony will take place at the Dorothy C. Boyce Banquet in Columbus, Ohio on May 22, 2019.

A Celebration of Excellence

The USA Volleyball Hall of Fame pays tribute to players, coaches, officials, and leaders who have made significant contributions to the sport. May-Treanor, a three-time Olympic gold medalist, will be honored with the All-Time Great Female Beach Player award for 2019. Known as one of the greatest beach volleyball players of all time, May-Treanor achieved an astounding 21 consecutive Olympic match victories and secured three FIVB World Championship titles. Throughout her career, she amassed an impressive 112 tournament titles, including 43 international titles, and won over $2 million in prize money.
