USA off to a Hot Start at 2017 FIVB Beach World Championships

The 2017 FIVB Beach World Championships in Vienna, Austria, is underway, and the United States is off to a strong start. With a chance to win a $60,000 first-place prize, eight American beach volleyball teams are competing in this prestigious event.

As the tournament progresses, pool play for the women concludes on August 1, followed by the Round of 32 single elimination bracket. Men’s pool play continues until August 2, when their Round of 32 begins, along with the Women’s Round of 16, all on Wednesday.
