Previously known as the USA National Beach Tour, the USA Volleyball Beach Tour has rebranded and now comprises over 30 national qualifying events held nationwide. The tour operates under the same guidelines, with clubs and regions hosting beach national qualifiers and regional qualifiers. Through this system, athletes can earn the opportunity to compete at the highly sought-after USA Volleyball Beach National Championship, which takes place every summer. At the National Qualifiers, top finishers have the chance to secure bids to the prestigious Open Division, while American Division bids are available at Regional Qualifiers.
“This beach tour rebrand will help strengthen its brand affiliation with USA Volleyball and the 40 regions of USAV,” said Steve Bishop, Florida Region Commissioner and Beach Development Representative to the USAV Board of Directors. “We’ve witnessed ongoing growth in the beach space across the U.S. as more playing opportunities are created annually for our members.
