Training and Strengths

The team has undergone rigorous training in preparation for the competition. Coach Fisher states, “Training has been going great. We have a lot of players who are new to the USA system, and so there has been a fast learning curve.” The team’s strengths lie in their setting and ball control, and they will continue to train intensively to establish their go-to hitter out of system.

A Challenging Pool

The U.S. squad finds itself in Pool B, competing against Argentina, Costa Rica, Cuba, Peru, and Trinidad & Tobago. Their pool play begins on July 2nd against Peru, followed by matches against Trinidad & Tobago, Cuba, Costa Rica, and Argentina.
