In the first-ever PVF match, the Atlanta Vibe emerged victorious against the Omaha Supernovas in a thrilling 3-2 encounter. Morgan Hentz, the libero for the Vibe, showcased her skills with 20 receptions, 60 percent of which were positive. Tori Stringer, the setter, contributed three points with two kills and a block.
For the Supernovas, Brooke Nuneviller, the outside hitter, led the way with 16 points from 16 kills. Danielle Hart, the middle blocker, also scored 16 points with 13 kills and three blocks. Sydney Hilley, the setter, scored two points with two kills. Libero Kendall White demonstrated her defensive prowess with 28 receptions, 54 percent of which were positive.
Tori Dixon, a former member of the U.S. National Team, made an impact for the Atlanta Vibe, scoring 14 points through nine kills, four blocks, and one ace. Nia Reed, the opposite, played as a substitute and added two points with two kills.
In other matches, the Grand Rapids Rise defeated the Columbus Fury 3-0, and the Atlanta Vibe triumphed over the Orlando Valkyries in a thrilling 3-2 encounter.
