2021 Gulf Coast Beach Fest BNQ

The Gulf Coast Beach Fest BNQ is an exciting event happening this year at the Gulf Shores Public Beach in Gulf Shores, AL. Get ready for a weekend of intense beach volleyball action and fun in the sun.

Schedule of Age Divisions

The event features various age divisions for participants to compete in. Here is the schedule for each division:

  • Open Division: Girls 18u, 16u, 14u

    • Saturday, May 8th
      • 7:30 am – Player Meeting
      • 8:00 am – Pool Play begins
      • 1:00 pm – Pool Play concludes
    • Sunday, May 9th
      • 8:00 am – Single Elimination Championship Bracket play begins in Gold, Silver, Bronze, and Flight Divisions
      • 12:00 pm – Finals in the 18u, 16u, 14u, 12u divisions (approximate times)
  • Open Division 12u Girls – Open Division Boys plus USA Division

    • Saturday, May 8th
      • 2:00 pm – Player Meeting
      • 2:30 pm – Pool Play begins
      • 7:30 pm – Pool Play concludes for all PM Waves
    • Sunday, May 9th
      • 1:30 pm – Single Elimination Championship Bracket play begins in Gold and Silver Divisions for Open Division Boys
      • 2:00 pm – Single Elimination Championship Bracket play begins in Gold, Silver, and Bronze Divisions for USA Division Girls
      • 5:20 pm – Finals for Open Division Boys and USA divisions (approximate times)

Beach Fest Rules and Guidelines

Due to COVID-19 restrictions, there will not be a players’ meeting for BeachFest 2021. Players should report to their assigned court after checking in online and be ready for their first matches or their first work team duties. The BeachFest rules session will be posted on Thursday along with the schedule on the Gulf Coast Region website.

Q: Is there a dress code for the event?
A: While uniforms are not required, they are encouraged. All athletes must wear a top that covers the midsection when standing, and bottoms such as spandex, shorts, or leggings. Bikinis are not permitted for any team. Boys should wear a tank top or t-shirt that covers the midsection when standing, along with bottoms such as board shorts or athletic shorts.

Q: Can spectators attend the event?
A: This year, spectators are not allowed to enter the event. Only the families of NCAA Collegiate players will have access.
