The 949 14 Black B-Jason volleyball team from the Southern California Region emerged victorious in the 14 Open Division at the Boys Junior National Championships held at the Greater Columbus Convention Center in Columbus, Ohio. They concluded the tournament with a remarkable 10-2 record.

In the final, the 949 defeated Team Rockstar 14-1, another team from the Southern California Region, with a score of 25-22, 25-21. Meanwhile, Southern California’s SCVC 14 Quicksilver tied for third place with Puerto Rico’s UVS 14UM Juan.
