Six Champions Crowned on Final Day of BJNC

(Las Vegas, Nevada) – The 2022 Boys Junior National Championship in Las Vegas concluded with six new champions being crowned on July 7th. The tournament saw intense competition over eight days, with 387 teams and numerous athletes and spectators in attendance.

Final Results

In the Open Division, the path to victory was not an easy one for 352 Elite 17 Lime Tonny from Florida. They faced tough opponents in Outrigger 17s (Aloha), The HBC 17s Working Man (SCVA), and Bay to Bay 17-1 (NCVA), losing three of their six matches. However, they persevered and managed to turn the tables in the semifinals and finals against Bay to Bay and Outrigger, ultimately winning the title in a thrilling three-set match against Outrigger.

Another team that pushed themselves to the limit was Spike and Serve B 18-1 from Aloha. Half of their matches went to three sets, including their semifinal against 352 Elite 18 Lime Roger (Florida) and the final against Aspire 18 Thor (Arizona). The SAS team emerged victorious, securing their second consecutive championship after winning the 17 Open division last year.

In the USA Division, Northeast Boys 17-1 from New England overcame two early losses to claim the 17 USA title. They defeated Boys BSVBC 17-1 (Gateway) in a closely contested match. High Flyers 18 Red from the Great Plains region emerged as the champions in the 18 USA division, prevailing in a thrilling three-set victory against SMBC West 18 adidas Matt.

In the Club Division, TVA Addix 17 Mint from NCVA dominated the competition, finishing with an undefeated 11-0 record to claim the 17 Club title. LBVC 18 Jason from SCVA also had an impressive run, going undefeated with a 12-0 record to secure the 18 Club championship.
