USAV Reveals Men’s Collegiate National Team

USA Volleyball is excited to introduce the talented athletes who make up the 2020 U.S. Men’s Collegiate National Team. This team consists of 16 exceptional players, including five outside hitters, five middle blockers, two opposites, two setters, and two liberos.

Among the selected athletes are Jaylen Jasper and Kyler Presho from Stanford, as well as Chris Hall from USC, who have all previously played on U.S. youth and junior national teams. Jasper was also recognized as a 2020 AVCA All-America Honorable Mention. Additionally, Tyler Mitchem from Lewis was named to the 2020 AVCA All-America First Team, while Felix Chapman from Grand View was named the NAIA Player of the Year. Liam Maxwell from Belmont Abbey was recognized as the Co-Offensive Player of the Year in the Conference Carolinas, and Matt Slivinski from Carthage College was named to the AVCA Division III All-America First Team.

These players represent a diverse group, with athletes hailing from eight different USA Volleyball regions: Chesapeake, Florida, Garden Empire, Great Lakes, Lone Star, Northern California, Old Dominion, and Southern California. The selection process involved an open video tryout, where collegiate athletes submitted their game film for review, and their VolleyMetrics stats were also assessed.
