Players and Coaches in NCAA Semis with Ties to USAV NTDP

The NCAA D1 Women’s Volleyball National Championship semifinals are an exciting showcase of talent and skill. What makes this year’s semifinals even more special is the connection that players and coaches from all four teams have to USA Volleyball’s National Team Development Program (NTDP) and its national teams.

Nebraska
Nebraska boasts a roster filled with players who have excelled in the NTDP program. Players like Bekka Allick, Ally Batenhorst, Merritt Beason, and many more have represented the NTDP national teams and even earned medals for their outstanding performances. Assistant Coach Jordan Larson, a Nebraska alumna, brings her experience as a three-time Olympic medalist to the team, continuing to contribute to the Women’s National Team’s success.

Pitt
The Pitt team also features players who have been part of the NTDP national teams. Olivia Babcock, Blaire Bayless, and Rachel Fairbanks are among the talented athletes who have honed their skills through the program. Head Coach Dan Fisher, with his experience coaching the Collegiate National Team and the Women’s National Team, brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to the team.

Texas
Asjia O’Neal, a member of the Texas team, has already competed with the U.S. Women’s National Team at the prestigious Volleyball Nations League. Texas also has a talented group of players who have represented the NTDP national teams, including Nya Bunton, Devin Kahahawai, and Molly Phillips. Head Coach Jerritt Elliot has also been involved with coaching NTDP national teams, showcasing his expertise on the national stage.

Wisconsin
Wisconsin brings a strong contingent of players with ties to the NTDP program. Carter Booth, CC Crawford, and Saige Damrow have all been part of the NTDP national teams, showcasing their talent and dedication. Assistant Coach Annemarie Hickey’s experience working with the Women’s Collegiate National Team adds to the team’s coaching prowess.
