In Italy, the SuperLega volleyball matches, along with other sports, have been temporarily suspended until at least March 11 due to the outbreak of COVID-19 (also known as the corona virus) in the northern part of the country. Modena, featuring talented players like Matt Anderson, Micah Christenson, and Max Holt, unfortunately fell to Perugia in the semis. Despite the loss, the team showed impressive performances.
Germany
The Berlin Recycling Volleys, an undefeated team in the German league, continue to dominate with players like J.T. Hatch, Cody Kessel, Kyle Ensing, Ben Patch, and Jeff Jendryk. The team recently had a challenging match against Düren but came out victorious. Patch led the team with an outstanding performance. Other teams worth mentioning are Friedrichshafen and Giesen, where U.S. players Brendan Schmidt and David Wieczorek play.
Poland
