Kish Island Results
In Kish Island, Ryan Doherty and John Mayer, currently ranked tenth, represented the U.S. in the main draw competition. Unfortunately, they tied for 17th place after a loss to Russia’s Maxim Sivolap and Igor Velichko in the round of 32. Adam Roberts and Marty Lorenz, on the other hand, were eliminated in the qualification round by the Netherlands’ Jasper Bouter and Tom van Steenis.

FIVB World Tour Rankings Update

The FIVB World Tour rankings were recently updated to reflect the points earned after the Fort Lauderdale Major. Topping the men’s rankings are Phil Dalhausser and Nick Lucena from the USA, while April Ross and Kerri Walsh Jennings hold the second spot for the women.

USA Beach High Performance Skills Assessment Camps
USA Beach High Performance has made some changes to their tryouts this year. They have transitioned to Skills Assessment Camps, which provide athletes with opportunities to showcase their skills. There will be four camps held in different zones across the country:
- March 4-5: Tavares, FL (Atlantic Zone)
- March 18-19: California (Pacific Zone)
- April 1-2: Houston, TX (Border Zone)
- April 29-30: Cedar Rapids, IA (Central Zone)
Junior Beach Tour in March
The Junior Beach Tour, just like its professional counterpart, has kicked off its season with several tour stops in the month of March. Keep an eye out for updated information about the JBT Championships, which will take place from July 20-25.
