Beach Update: FIVB Nantong, NORCECA Ochos Rios Rosters

In the upcoming week, beach volleyball enthusiasts will be treated to games in various locations, including China, Jamaica, and Seattle. There are three different tours taking place simultaneously, with the AVP Tour in Seattle, the NORCECA Continental Tour in Ochos Rios, Jamaica, and the FIVB World Tour in Nantong, China. It’s going to be an action-packed summer for beach volleyball, as the FIVB has scheduled tournaments in different countries. American professionals will have to make tough decisions when they are faced with overlapping events. The month of July alone will present numerous opportunities for fans to witness new partnerships and emerging talents in the sport.

FIVB Nantong 2-Star Roster

Amanda Dowdy and Irene Pollock, who recently finished ninth in Nanjing last week, have earned a main draw wild card for the FIVB Nantong tournament in China. They will start their campaign as the 17th seed. This will be their second FIVB tournament together.

NORCECA Ochos Rios Roster

The NORCECA tournament in Ochos Rios, Jamaica will feature several dynamic teams. Jace Pardon and Lara Dykstra, who won silver in the Cayman Islands, will be aiming for success once again. Following the zonal championships, the USAV Collegiate Beach Open will be held from July 6-8 and will serve as the national championship for older age groups. Moreover, the highly anticipated USA Junior Beach Championships will take place from July 31 to August 2.

The Junior Beach Tour is in full swing, with five more tournaments scheduled for the month of June. In July, there will be 13 events across 13 different states leading up to the Championships in Siesta Key, Florida.
