USA Volleyball Partners with SportsEngine

USA Volleyball recently announced a new partnership with SportsEngine Inc., a leading provider of sport relationship management software and a subsidiary of NBC Sports Group. This partnership will see SportsEngine become the national governing body’s member management technology provider for its 370,000 members and 4,500 active clubs, effective from September 1, 2019.

Through this collaboration, USA Volleyball and its affiliated Regional Volleyball Associations (RVAs) will have access to SportsEngine’s suite of member management tools. This online ecosystem will allow them to efficiently manage regional, club, and athlete membership data, offering features such as robust reporting, financial tools, enhanced communication channels, and rostering capabilities. Additionally, the system will integrate with third-party platforms to provide up-to-the-minute information on memberships, safety program requirements, and background checks.

“We are very honored and excited to form this partnership with USA Volleyball,” said Libby Kohlbeck, SportsEngine’s head of volleyball. “To have the ability to work with an elite organization and create an incredible technology experience is our goal here at SportsEngine. We are aligned with USA Volleyball in our mission, vision, and values, and we can’t wait to get started.”

Being the number-one participatory sport in high school and college for women, as well as the fastest growing sport among high school boys, volleyball continues to experience tremendous growth in the United States. USA Volleyball’s membership has consistently grown every year since 1980 and has reached record levels again this season. The partnership with SportsEngine will further support the upward trajectory by providing a positive end-user experience for athletes and their families.
